In
a class by itself! With
expert comedy, mime and characterization, Bradley Fields
has redefined the role of the stage magician and restored Magic to its
proper place among the theatrical arts.
"A
CAREFULLY CHOREOGRAPHED PRODUCTION COMBINING ELEMENTS OF DANCE, MIME AND
MUSIC WITH SLEIGHT OF HAND ARTISTRY . . .THE ARTIST GAVE THE IMPRESSION
OF A MISCHIEVOUS ELF AS HE MOVED ABOUT THE STAGE PERFORMING ONE MAGIC
TRICK AFTER ANOTHER IN A SEAMLESS FLOW OF MOVEMENT. HIS SHOCK OF CURLY,
RED HAIR, HIS WIDE-EYED INNOCENT EXPRESSION AND THE LONG, NIMBLE FINGERS
HE USED SO EXPRESSIVELY ALL CONTRIBUTED TO THE ILLUSION THAT WE WERE WATCHING
THE CHIEF JESTER IN A TRAVELING BAND OF MEDIEVAL PERFORMERS. . . SPLIT-SECOND
TIMING HAD THE AUDIENCE AGOG! NO ONE WHO WAS PRESENT, AND IT WAS A FULL
HOUSE, WILL EVER FORGET THE EXPERIENCE." --The Summit Independent
(Reviewed at the New Jersey Shakespeare Festival)
"ONE
OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL ACTS IN MAGIC TODAY. THE AUDIENCE IS MESMERIZED,
AND WHEN THE COME TO THEMSELVES, THEY EXPLODE INTO DEAFENING APPLAUSE."
--Tops Magazine (magicians trade publication)
Flowers
appear from nowhere; silver coins turn to sparkly magic dust; a beautiful
princess floats in midair. In "The Barker," the audience is
carried back 100 years ago in time as Mr. Fields re-creates the role he
originated on Broadway.
Bradley
Fields has presented his Magic Theatre to standing ovations around the
world since 1975. He is the first American magician to be officially presented
in Beijing by the Chinese Ministry of Culture.
